These are notes I took about my first podcast interview. I have left them mostly as is, not correcting grammar or spelling, because I think that partially reflects my mood at the time. To do lists and tasks and project plans…..that’s kind of the point of this I think.

Hospital Stay and Vacations Lead to Unexpected Business Delays:

Yikes! The web developer I am working with is in the hospital. That has slowed us down some, but who cares. I just hope he’s ok. If it delays us, I’ll just keep learning WordPress, and we’ll soft launch with a few less tools than I hoped. What matters right now is his health.

I spent the last week or so in Iowa for a wedding. I thought there was a tiny chance I’d work while in Iowa, but it was a pretty packed agenda. And, when it wasn’t, it was sitting around and hanging out with family. I’m not the type to work in that situation, I like my wife’s family a lot. But, that has also set back the time table some….

Today I spent time working on the little things I could on the site, like updating intro pages and editing those I didn’t like. I finished about half of those updates before noon. This afternoon I will be spending time buying groceries, but my wife has a choir rehearsal tonight. I am planning on updating those pages I can, and then laying out how I want one of the pages to look that we have not agreed upon yet.

I am also going to watch videos and tutorials about using audacity. That’s the software I am using to edit audio files from podcast discussions. I 100% will have 1-2 podcasts ready by week end (both from one discussion). I may also have an out take version….but I doubt it.

I decided to change the layout of the main section pages, so I’ve been working on that, and not audacity. Oh, and the sellers (did I mention we are buying a house) have agreed to the lower price we want, to cover some fixes found in the inspection… step closer to being a home owner again!

Looking back, I’d add this on reflection on that day:

Two main things on this one too.

First, thankfully, my developer got healthy!

Second, I didn’t get much done on anything, while I thought about buying the house…..
